1. to raise awareness in the general public around the world to the need for world citizenship and the global rule of law as the foundation of a future World Democracy to legitimately enforce basic human rights and solve common global problems (global environmental and resource problems, peace and security, global commons etc.), as well as

2. to provide resources (informational and financial) to civil society organisations (non-profits) whose goals are similar or complementary.

To be as efficient as possible, we are structuring ourselves like a startup. We seek to use new paradigms in both politics and philanthropy, moving from old paradigms to new ones of global democracy and of venture philanthropy.

The World Citizen Foundation endeavors to be a learning organization, and to operate according to the principles of continuous improvement, leveraging innovative partnerships (e.g. between civil society, the private and the public sectors) and systematically creating win-win situations.
